National Service Scheme or NSS, is a programme which aims at instilling the idea of social welfare in students by getting them involved in community service.

To enroll in NSS, an enrollment form needs to be filled up, which is available around August-September.

You may get the information on your hostel/department notice boards. Alternately, you can visit the NSS office for information.The current program officers of NSS in Faculty of Social Sciences are Dr Seema Mishra, Department of History and Dr Manokamna Ram, Department of Economics.

 NSS is a two year programme.
